Should the society ostracise the individuals if their sexual orientation is not the same as the majority's behaviour?

Discussion Unit 5

Should the society ostracise the individuals if their orientation is not the same as the majority's behaviour?

Sunderland Pride 2020

In the tradition or cultures where I was brought up, this is a very controversial sensitive subject to discuss.  Most of the people around me in the country I was born felt ashamed to talk about it but they prefer to joke over it.  Shamefully in the last 2 decades sodomationally news in related to one potential candidate who desperately wanted to be Prime Minister has been highlighted by the mainstream media (MSM) especially in social media.

As for me I treat gay students in my school equally and don't have biases toward them, avoiding some sensitive topics of discussion when I am with them. Name calling to them is commonly heard and sadly it has become a joke on them.

I don't play much attention to sexual identity.  Naturally I treated both sexes equally well, but some of my friends develop a titanic feeling toward the girls they like and panic disorder like sudden feelings of intense anxiety or fear arise will strike on them within minutes tremendously.  FYI I was studying in All-Male school and I did take extra classes outside my school which consists of both sexes.  Most of them develop panic disorder due to the perception of the girls as opposite sex and while in my perception of opposite sex absent in my mind which I don't gave a damn the differences.

When I reflected back I think my maturity came late in my life, I only dated girls out only after 21 years old as we were taught in the church not to have any sexual intercourse with any girls which is outside the marriage and only with heterosexual's preference.  Besides these, we were also taught not to have any masturbation, watching any pornography, fornication, and homosexual activitie as these are the deadly sins.

I have a simple minded and in view sexual orientation, only heterosexuality.  The first culture shock I experienced was when I was working in Berlin as a software engineer.  As I was walking in the park, I accidentally caught a couple kissing titanically standing up.  Right after I passed them I realised both of them were male and one male was with long hair.   From that day onward I start play attention to those are different from heterosexual type of human.

My second culture shock was when I was stationed in Bangkok, Thailand where I met Thai girl from online social media who was keen to be my life partner. After lengthy email discussions and hours of phone conversation through calling cards, we decided to meet in Bangkok. Strangely the first person to answer the call is always a man's voice.  When I met her first time, she confused shocked me by her confession that she is Ladyboy which literally mean she is a male-to-female transgender person which known as Kathoey (Thai: กะเทย; RTGS: kathoei Thai pronunciation: [kàtʰɤːj]) in Thailand!!  To my holy-shit of me, I told her off, and beat it from me.  After reflecting over the phone calls I made, I came to know the man who answered the calls also from the same person I was speaking too.  She will change her manly voice to feminine voice before speaking to me.

I am still unable to tell what is the main cause a person has different sexual orientation outside from heterosexual, perhaps is a mixture of biology and environment.  Most of my musical celebrities like George Michael, Sir Elton John, whom I love them dearly were born "heterosexual oriented type of human being".  Later, they evolved into homosexual oriented type.  I believe these attractive musical artists having a lot of over indulgent sexual activities with greatly influenced drugs which were that later evolved themselves become homosexual orientated after getting fed up with a string of opposite sex's sexual partners.

I was an active member of Sunderland Pride  giving moral support toward LGBT's members who had been victimised in their original country before asylum seeking in England.  FYI I don't go around promoting LGBT like some evil parasites pushing LGBT propaganda agenda to every tom, dick and harry by brainwashing them to becoming the float type of human being and I am totally against normalised pedophilia even California General Assembly has approved LGBT-backed legislation .  Based on statistically correctness, very few human beings are born in LGBT type of sexual preference.

Today the people in my conservative country are expecting everyone should belong to heterosexual orientation type as their evil religious cults beliefs will victimised those outside of heterosexual preferences.

ROBEAR holding a person

ROBEAR holding a person

Part II.

I have a grave concern over the aging society generally as the older generation is outgrowing the younger generation especially in Japan which has the highest proportion of elderly citizens of any country in the world.  This is another area I spend a lot of my time thinking about some solid solutions to take care of these elderly citizens which some of them do have disability issues.  Japanese people love robots and I am still struggling how to get started developing robots similar to humanoid robot Telenoid or Robear which is an experimental nursing care robot.

After seeing my aged late parents and grandparents go through, I had started to pay attention toward the elderly generation as sooner or later we all will reach this stage of life  Be prepared to face this stage of life as it is not an easy phase to get through if you are not well prepared for it.  Many elder citizens went through painfully with great sadness trapped unto lonely miserable phases of their life.  I spend much of my time with elder citizens especially in AgedUK, Sunderland, UK.

Many of these elderly have been abandoned due to society's focus too much on materialic ways of life that have eroded unto our societies subconsciously.  The damn "RAT RACE" generation who are caught in the net saddled with debts, stuck in donkised dead-end jobs which enslaved themselves to chase after a delusive financial security dream which their parents or grandparents managed to secure before.  This further damns Covid-19 PLAN-demic eroded en-cock-roaching their quality of life and the world sees repeating the Great Recession era again.  Unfortunately due to mainly economic cataclysm, they are unable to take care of their family especially their elderly parents who lost their health issues which related to aging sickness.

I believe the sad trend of abandoning, exploiting or destituting their elderly parents will continue flourishing if no effort is made to stop this madness trend.  Those who have some wealth accumulated in their life, these elderly citizens can afford to stay in private care homes and it seems flourishing spreading in every corner of the world as the elders have created great demand.  I was a little worried that they have little savings or no savings, and have no children, or those of their children unable to take care of them due to economic financial constraints.

Some studies have claimed Robots could take over 20 million jobs by 2030.  Last 10 years I have been pounding my conscious mind on how to find a solution to reduce poverty by losing the jobs which robots include self-driving cars able to take over very soon.  I believe the government needs to introduce Basic Income which can be implemented nationally, regionally or locally  By introducing it unconditionally with gradual process since the damn Covid-19 PLAN-demic has brought disaster to our job opportunities generally by bringing the economy on a knee down desperately.  We can tax these robots to generate income to finance these Basic Citizen Income.

Those who had lost their job permanently who benefited from Basic Citizen Income, should volunteer themselves to take care of the abandoned elder citizen in whatever way they can offer.  Elderly citizen do need many volunteers come forward company them in their residents, accompany them shop together in shopping mall, have dinner together with home cooking food, singing together, active genuine with healthy relationship interaction comes with loving caring attitude, appreciate their great contribution to the society with genuine gratitude toward to them when they were healthy contributed in anyway in their abilities, dance together or any activities given hope for them live happily together.

Over in Singapore, more elderly Singaporeans are taking their own lives and the sky has rocket up in recent years. New statistics has the number of elderly aged 60 and above had hit the committed suicide at peaked in 2017.  The highlighted issues have a troubling spike for elderly Singaporeans killing themselves because the feeling of life is empty and meaningless".

Some committing suicide as myriad of reasons as they don't wish to cause financial burden to their children.  Singapore remains the world's most expensive city and elderly people have lost faith in life, especially lost financial earning capabilities which largely depend on their children.  Another common occurrence are the elders has their loved one ie. spouse (life partner) and when the loneliness started kicking in, they caught into depression which later led to some kind of chronic or terminal illness that led to the result in a loss of independence or loss of mobility.

One of the most obvious cases in Singapore was our beloved late first Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Kuan Yew.  When his beloved late wife left him, he entered into void of his life.  Within 3 years he followed his wife which went away like the candle in the wind.  I strongly believe his depression later led him to having sensory peripheral neuropathy,a rare nerve disease and went away on 23 March 2015.  I knew a few loving couples had the similar case too.  Another obvious case was happening in my family too. Right after my late beloved mother went away like the candle in the wind, my late beloved father also caught into chronic depression that locked down on his life.  His chronic depression led him to get a stroke within a year.  Within 2 years he lost the will to live from his chronic depression, he managed to kick off his bucket  after getting a heart attack in his sleep.

ROBEAR: The experimental nursing care robot.

It’s being called the strong robot with the gentle touch.

A company in Japan is experimenting with a nursing care robot affectionately called ROBEAR.

The cute bot is being developed to help patients around the hospital. ROBEAR can perform tasks like lifting a patient from a bed into a wheelchair—or helping a patient stand up.

The robot has a number of sensors—some of which include torque and tactile sensors made of rubber. That allows for ROBEAR to do power-intensive tasks without hurting anyone.

While the big bear looks cuddly, lifting him would be a feat. ROBEAR weighs slightly more than 300 pounds.

The company says the bot could be a good solution for Japan’s urgent need for assisted living care. The country has a rapidly increasing elderly population.

One of the leaders of the research team says they hope ROBEAR can lead to more practical robots that can help alleviate some of the burden on caregivers.

Extended Version of the discussion

Sadly today deep discrimination and discriminative mainly comes from evil religious cults beliefs.

I do have a few close friends with Italian and did learn some of their culture and language too. I don't feel too comfortable with standing close to me (proximity) when talking to them. From my personal encountering, I did realised gay is quite common in Italian societies and it might related to culture had a great influences over or override the genetic material (Mind over matter) after I have some intensive travel around. I am not trying to be racist here. The percentage of gay from my personal observation and had personal encountered is much higher in the brown skin communities mainly place from Thailand, Philippines, Portugal, and Malaysia.
I decided google it out and found out top 5 countries with Biggest Gay Populations. Surprisingly the USA was the top followed by Brazil, Thailand, South Africa, and Malaysia. I do have few closed friends from South Africa and surprisingly it is listed one of the biggest gay populations.
I do enjoy reading your post. You did explained and well written, a very comprehensive in a well summaries posting on Older generations in Italy. I am fully aware of the high percentage of older generations and do respect their long life part of their living. Keep it up.

Tell you frankly I love Italian drinks, foods, cars, cities, songs, music especially opera, people, culture, language, and their great influence over European countries generally. I do have few close friends originally from Sorrento, Italy. I took up learning the Italian language and it is quite easy for me as I do have the basic foundation of Spanish language. I am longing to visit Sorrento, Italy to attend some of the famous known opera theaters.

I love the song titled Torna A Surriento which was sung by our most talented opera singer, the late beloved Luciano Pavarotti. Another one outstanding was 1993 Pavarotti Verdi La Traviata - Brindisi
