Discussion Unit 5 Should the society ostracise the individuals if their orientation is not the same as the majority's behaviour? Sunderland Pride 2020 In the tradition or cultures where I was brought up, this is a very controversial sensitive subject to discuss.  Most of the people around me in the country I was born felt ashamed to talk about it but they prefer to joke over it.  Shamefully in the last 2 decades sodomationally news in related to one potential candidate who desperately wanted to be Prime Minister has been highlighted by the mainstream media (MSM) especially in social media. As for me I treat gay students in my school equally and don't have biases toward them, avoiding some sensitive topics of discussion when I am with them. Name calling to them is commonly heard and sadly it has become a joke on them.
